Parents Web
Mrs. Brennan and I are now using Parents Web in order to communicate with you. Parents Web can be accessed through our school's website. Our Teacher Page on Parents Web will allow you to access homework, calendar information, important announcements, monthly newsletters, and progress reports. We hope that you are able to check Parents Web regularly and that you are finding it a useful tool. I am still going to keep my blog going for a time until students have access to Parents Web for the purpose of then uploading the educational sites that I already have on my blog. I know that many of the students have been enjoying playing some of these games and so don't want them to lose out on that opportunity during the transition from blog to use of our Teacher Page.

At-Home Writing Program - The At-Home Writing Program has begun. Students were sent home with their writing folders last Thursday. I hope that you were able to take a look through the package and that you have a good understanding of how the program runs. Story #1 is due on Thursday, January 24th. Students are required to hand in their writing folder complete with the story map, rough copy of their story, and good copy. Happy Writing!
Prayers - Please keep the Kinniburgh family in your prayers. Paige is at home this week recovering from a sledding accident on the weekend. We miss you Paige and will continue to keep you in our prayers.

Fun Lunch - just for us
Parent Council is working on a different idea for fun lunches. They want to try their idea out on two classes (elementary and secondary). Our class has been chosen at the elementary level. Therefore, we will be having a special fun lunch for our class on Tuesday, December 4th. The students will be given a free lunch that day so you get a break from packing them a lunch. After lunch that day, the students will fill in a brief evaluation of what they thought about the fun lunch. So, please mark the date on your calendar and don't pack a lunch for your child that day!
