Year-End Party

The end of the school year is upon us - this next week is our last week together. Here is some information regarding the Grade 3, 3/4, and 4 Year-End Celebration:

Schedule:
8:30 – 8:45
Attendance in classrooms/Expectations (Game set-up – parent help)
8:45 – 10:15
Games – students move through stations (Parent volunteers to help at each station)
10:15 – 10:26
Recess Break
10:26 – 11:15
Book Sharing in small groups (Parents help set up for potluck style picnic lunch)
11:15 – 12:00
Lunch (Parents are welcome!)
12:00 – 12:15
Clean-up/Grade 3’s depart for swimming

Reminders:
· Students are reminded to bring a dish that represents your cultural background. Please bring enough to share with 5 – 10 people; this will be a potluck style picnic lunch. Also remember that the dish must be nut free.
· Remember to bring your favourite book to share with other students. You will be in groups and will be asked to read a selection to the others.
· Also remember to wear sunscreen, bug spray, a hat and suitable/comfortable clothing to wear for our active morning.
· Bring a water bottle and a blanket as well.
Please Note:

We are needing some shoeboxes and 4L ice cream buckets for some of our games. If you have some at home and can send them to school with your child, that would be wonderful. Thanks.

We are so excited about this fun-filled morning! It will be a fantastic way to celebrate and end our year together!
